Mission Statement

Established in 1957, the purpose of the Association is to sponsor and promote interest and activities for equestrians throughout the state of Nevada. We support activities concerning horses while encouraging sponsorship of horse shows, and any activity which will further the general purpose of NSHA V and the interest of equestrians.

NSHA V is a "not for profit" association providing a wholesome environment for children, adults and the disabled to display their talents and be rewarded for their athletic achievement and hard work with horses. We are the most enduring horseman's association in Nevada with proven commitment and dedication to equestrians and their horses in Nevada.

Association Affiliates

Developed for Registered Association members who may not have the opportunity to attend national competitions. PtHA OCAP, AQHA PAC, AHA Incentive Programs (Achievement, Dressage, Frequent Rider, Endurance, and Recognition Awards), and Friesian Open Competition Award Program allows participants to earn points at local open shows that will go toward specific awards. Please see your Association website for more information. Present your forms to our Show Secretary for verification.
